Subject Code: AyUG –SA3 Samhita Adhyayan - 3 As per The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) New Syllabus The purpose of this book is to provide concise, essential, comprehensive, and accessible information related to Samhita, with particular emphasis on the Chikitsa Sthana, Kalpa Sthana, and Siddhi Sthana of the Charaka Samhita. The selection and presentation of the subject matter are based on the authors’ experiences gained during postgraduate studies and while teaching students. The book also places special emphasis on aspects of modern medical science that are clinically relevant. An effort has been made to integrate and correlate modern concepts with the fundamental principles of Ayurveda so that students can develop a better and more comprehensive understanding of the subject. The contents of the book have been organized and presented in a systematic and sequential manner. It is hoped that this book will prove useful to both students and teachers in facilitating the study and understanding of Samhita, particularly the Chikitsa Sthana, Kalpa Sthana, and Siddhi Sthana of the Charaka Samhita.
