It also addresses Sthavara Visha, Jangama Visha, Kritrima Visha, Gara Visha, Dushi Visha, and the toxic effects of various poisonous substances. Special emphasis is placed on traditional Ayurvedic concepts, classical references, and their relevance to contemporary toxicological understanding. The section on Vidhi Vaidyaka introduces students to the principles of forensic medicine, medical jurisprudence, medico-legal procedures, injury assessment, identification, death investigation, and the legal and ethical responsibilities of medical practitioners. It aims to develop an understanding of the application of medico-legal knowledge in clinical settings and professional practice. Designed primarily for undergraduate BAMS students, this textbook presents subject matter in a structured, accessible, and academically oriented manner.
